2007 waterfowl hunt opener conditions

Public Shooting Grounds Waterfowl Management Area

Water conditions are below normal hunt levels due to drought and boats may have some difficulty the first two weeks of the season.

Bird numbers are excellent and will decrease following the season opener.

Mallard, Pintail, Green-winged Teal, Gadwall, Cinnamon Teal and Wigeon are the primary birds present

There are hundreds of Canada Geese for the opener

Gates will be open on September 22, 2007

Camping is allowed, no facilities available and fires are the responsibility of the camper, and if you lose it you pay for it
