Water levels are low and the only impounded water is in East Lake, which is 60 percent full

Bird numbers are low

Mallard, Pintail, Green-winged Teal and Wigeon are the primary birds

Few Canada Geese are present

Gates will be open on September 22, 2007

Camping is allowed, no facilities available and fires are the responsibility of the camper, and if you lose it you pay for it

Fish should be stocked in Bar-M and Baker Springs for the General Waterfowl Opener and the limit is 4 trout
