Help Stop Poaching Hotline information
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources was one of the first wildlife agencies in the country to institute a toll-free wildlife violation report telephone line. Started in 1981, the Help Stop Poaching Hotline allows the public to report wildlife violations directly to Wildlife Resources law enforcement personnel.

Becoming a conservation officer
The job of protecting Utah's wildlife and enforcing Utah's wildlife laws is important, challenging and rewarding. We're often asked what it takes to become a conservation officer.

Landowner permission card
Before hunting or fishing on private land, you must receive written permission from the landowner.

Hunter Education
Utah law requires that all hunters born after Dec. 31, 1965 complete a Division-approved Hunter Education course. The following page contains information and a schedule of classes for the coming months.
