Brine shrimp harvester update

Dear Brine Shrimp Harvester:

A sampling run on the south arm of Great Salt Lake was conducted on September 25, 2007. The enumeration and analysis have been completed. All presented values are per liter of lake water.

• Cysts: 102.57
• Nauplii: 7.59
• Juveniles: 0.91
• Males: 0.21
• Total Females: 0.12
• Females: 0.06
• Females w/egg: 0.03
• Females w/cysts: 0.04

The harvest season will begin at noon on Monday October 1, 2007. Please remember to remain one mile from Hat and Gunnison Islands. The coordinates of these islands are as follows:
