Cooperators
The Great Basin Research Center has a long history of cooperating with multiple agencies. The U.S. Forest Service Rocky Mountain Research Station, Shrub Science Laboratory, located in Provo, Utah, has a similar mission, and activities of both research facilities are closely coordinated. Technical expertise is freely exchanged and some research is a joint effort, funded separately and involving researchers from both agencies.
Some additional agencies that we are currently cooperating with include:
- Utah Department of Agriculture and Food
- Brigham Young University
- Bureau of Land Management
- United States Forest Service
- Natural Resource Conservation Service
- Utah Crop Improvement Association
- USDA Agricultural Research Service
- Utah State University
- Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation
