Need equipment? No problem
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources wants to help you by providing locations throughout Utah that check out fishing equipment to kids just like a library checks out books. they'll help you check out rods and reels and other things to help you get started. All they ask is that you return everything in good condition. It's that simple! They may suggest good places to go fishing.
