Average Flow (minimum flow): Average flow is 6 cfs

Productivity: High quality habitat and abundant forage provide for a healthy population of naturally reproducing trout.
Type of fishing available: Entire stream is artificial flies and lures only
Angler pressure: Light angling pressure.
Accommodations: Nearest motels are in Fairview, Price and Huntington. There is a campground at the lower end of this stream, and there are many undeveloped camping opportunities in the area.
Food: There are restaurants in Huntington
Fish food: Aquatic and terrestrial insects, and fish (sculpins). Insects are primarily mayflies, caddis flies, and midges.
Land ownership: U.S. Forest Service
Access: From Highway 31, there is automobile access to campgrounds at the lower end of the stream, where a hiking trail originates. The trail runs along the stream for 5 miles up to the confluence with the Lake Canyon Creek. It can be accessed at the top by a trail near the Staker Creek crossing on the Miller Flat Road (USFS Road 014).
Unique attraction: Opportunities to fish areas that see very little pressure are available to anglers willing to hike.
